A note to people who work in fields requiring creativity:

1. When your opinion is not solicited, there is usually a good reason. It might be that the creative process is too far along to accomodate a fresh opinion. It might be that there are already too many people contributing. It is also possible that your opinion might not serve this particular endeavor very well. It might also be that no one respects your opinion. Regardless, accept that there is a good reason and move on.

2. Should you choose to ignore #1, you have absolutely no right under any circumstances to throw a fit because your suggestions didn't make the final copy. In fact, there is a distinct possibility that doing so will cause you to be perceived as a child.

That's my impression right now.

Again, you have uttered a statement so profound I will dwell on it for days. EVERYBODY gets their panties all up in a bunch when you don't entertain their idea as the final missing link of anything. Music... songs... projects at work... etc. Your statement holds true regardless off the who, the when, and the what. I hope you don't mind, but I plan to use this statement everywhere I can. Unlike most though, I will give credit where it is due. Keep on with the truths my friend!

Hmmmph..well fine. If you didn't LIKE the song idea about Baba Ganoush's magic onion house, you could have just said so.
