Idol Chatter and Nashville Cattiness 4/4/06

I don't know why I'm bothering, because I haven't been watching. But here it is. I will catch up soon.

I think I'm getting sick, and I don't like that.

Oh, and take a look at the trailer for the first 9/11 movie that people are complaining about. In spite of their sensitivity, I think the time is almost exactly right. Be warned, it is pretty sobering.

I'm limiting my viewing of airplane movies this summer to "Snakes on a Plane." It's too late for that movie.

Much like "Passion of the Christ," there are certain things that I don't want to go watch. This isn't going to see "Pearl Harbor" or something that happened before my time. I don't know if I could watch the film from the appropriate detachment required for me to enjoy a film of any quality.

Kelly was better than usual, but I also love the song "Fancy".
Ace was much better than last week - I loved him.
Chris did what I asked and actually sang and it was good.
Katharine was good too.
I think Paris should go home. Bucky was in his perfect area.

Taylor seemed a little out of his element, but hopefully he'll be able to survive the vote.

Bucky, on the other hand, was right at home. Which is a shame in a way because he really needs to go.

I was also pleasantly surprised by Chris' ability to sing without shouting.

As for the 9/11 movie, I think 4 1/2 years after the fact is tasteful enough. I'm actually kinda hoping it serves as some sort of reminder, because it seems that the farther we get from it, the more emotionally-detached we become. But I can completely understand the objections to and uneasiness about seeing it.

I didn't see Paris, but McPhee did not impress me (except with her looks...H-O-T) and neither did the Pickle, but I don't know how anyone could think that asshat Bucky was worth a damn.

He was out of tune, he mumbled the whole time, and he looks like some people from that movie "The Hills Have Eyes."

He needs to go. It's for the good of the country.
