Oh... and Mr. Band Director Guy made me a mixed CD that rivals "How To Win Friends and Influence People" in its importance to society. Highlights include "Vibeology" by Paula Abdul, "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger, and "Come Sail Away" by Styx as covered by Eric Cartman.

Take a seat "Sgt. Pepper's"... you have been improved upon.

I so wish I could've been in your car when you listened to it. Do you remember singing vibeology to me at your place back in the day?

vibeology? really?

The Cartman cover of Styx is one of my all-time favorites. Especially the Isaac Hayes/Chef break. For me, it's the nexus of musical and comedic brilliance.

...ok that might be pushing it. But still, gotta love it.

Yes, Vibeology... I find zero artistic merit in that song, yet am somehow drawn to it (like a moth to a flame).

I do not remember singing that, but I remember that it happened. What was the American Girls song? And who's cover of "Leaving on a Jet Plane" was that?

The American Girls song was Counting Crows. The Leaving on a jetplane is some weird name like Cruvizel or something. It's on the Armageddon soundtrack. Beautiful song. Almost as good as somewhere over the rainbow by Israel K'adlfkjadfljdfladjfldkfe. You probably know the one I'm talking about. Glad you love it. American Girls is a great work out song.
