If you haven't heard, the short list of candidates for a significant position at my alma mater was published today. A man who gave an awful lot more of himself to the organization than would anyone else I know was not on that list. Their ommission is wrong on multiple levels. I have never been more disappointed in Georgia than I am tonight.

If I could throw something through a wall in this blog, I would.

Where is this list, or who was omitted? I haven't heard what's going on yet.

I'm with Philip. I feel out of the loop. What's going on?

Sorry Charles. I don't want anything to be Googlable. But the guy in this picture is not among the finalists for the job which he currently holds in interim status.

No problem. I understand. And now that I understand the situation, I share in the indignation.

Who's idea was this? And is there any way to change it?

Sickening, just sickening. Even at little ol' UDubbyaEm, we know how to handle a transition.

WHO THE #&^*@$! DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?!!? Dammmmmmmit!

Charles - As I understand it, this is the final decision of the committee charged with searching for the replacement.

"Indignance" doesn't do how I feel justice. It will only ever serve as an example of how NOT to ever treat a man who's shouldered the things he has. I'm not sick, but suddenly puking of some people's shoes and wiping my face on their shirt seems....reasonable.
